Don't forget to join us TONIGHT for Slambrosia: Pride Edition!

There is a workshop run by Marcial Delgado and Kristin Patton starting at 5:30 PM before the slam. The slam sign ups are at 6:30 PM followed by bout draw at 6:45 PM. The slam will begin at 7PM-ish since we run on poet time here!

Come support our local poets and enjoy the show. We'll also be looking for a few judges night of if you're up for the role let us know so we can get you set up to judge! There is a $5 door. The door gets split between the venue and the winner of the slam - so invite your friends! The bigger the crowd, the bigger the pot!

Drink service is available through Ambrosia.

Slambrosia is tomorrow! We’re almost there! We can’t wait to see everyone! So let’s keep our roll call going with Rene Mullen, one of our judges for the slam!

Rene Mullen’s work can be found in Santa Fe Literary Review, Blue Collar Review, Poets.org, and is the winner of the 2023 Charles and F***y Fay Wood Poetry Prize. He’s been on multiple slam teams and holds a Creative Writing MFA from Randolph College. Rene calls the Southwest home.

Olga Foreign is a writer, poet, and multidisciplinary storyteller whose work blends narrative, philosophy, and social observation into immersive creative experiences. She is the creator and host of the Who Yelling Now? podcast, a story-driven series that explores themes of truth, identity, memory, and power through spoken word and narrative reflection.

Her published works include The Complaint Department, Stolen, A Lonely Walk, And Then Thoughts, What The Tree Saw, Conversations With my Grandfather and When The World Learned to Count. Each book stands on its own while also contributing to a broader, interconnected creative universe that examines human behavior, systemic structures, and the meaning we assign to our lived experiences.

Through her books and podcast, she invites readers and listeners to engage with complex ideas, confront uncomfortable truths, and explore the narratives that shape both individual identity and collective understanding.

Marcial Delgado is a poet, performer, and community organizer from Albuquerque, New Mexico—a vato from the barrio who fell in love with poetry and never looked back. He’s the founder and host of Voices of the Barrio, a powerful open mic held at El Chante: Casa de Cultura that lifts up stories from the heart of downtown ABQ.
Marcial is a three-time nominee for Best Spoken Word Artist in New Mexico (2023–2025), the 2022 New Mexico State Champion, and a past ABQ Slams City Champ. He’s rocked stages from Laredo to Daytona, from Southern Fried to Chicharra, representing New Mexico with fire and corazón.

Elizabeth Gade is a published poet, human trafficking survivor and advocate. She was chosen as one of 2026-2027 Poet In Residence for the Civil Rights Corp. Kristin Patton is a born and raised q***r poet/spoken word artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico who believes in the power of community and also believes in you (yes - you!). Kristin is self-published, has competed in both local, regional and national competitions, and hosts various events throughout the city, being wherever they are needed. You can find them at just about every event, cheering you on while scribing a new poem and stuffing tears into their pockets.
