School’s Out… and We're Celebrating!

THIS Thursday, June 4, S.A.F.E. House will be holding a special End-of-the-School-Year Celebration for the residents and children staying at our shelter — and we’d love your help making it extra sweet.

We are currently seeking donations of cupcakes, pastries, or other sweet treats to help us celebrate this important milestone and bring a little extra joy to families healing from intimate partner domestic violence.

To help us prepare, we kindly ask that donations be delivered by (TOMORROW) Wednesday, June 3. (We can pick them up, too!)

If you’d like to contribute, please contact:

Thank you for helping create moments of joy, celebration, and normalcy for the families we serve.

DID YOU KNOW?

Intimate partner domestic violence can happen in any relationship — regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

During Pride Month, it’s important to recognize that LGBTQ+ individuals often experience intimate partner domestic violence at equal or higher rates than heterosexual individuals. In fact, nearly 61% of bisexual women and 44% of le***an women report experiencing intimate partner violence in their lifetime.

Everyone deserves relationships built on safety, dignity, and respect — and everyone deserves access to support.

If you or someone you know needs help, S.A.F.E. House is here 24/7. Crisis Hotline: (505) 247-4219
