2 Day CCW August Class

This seventeen-hour class will provide the required training to apply for a New Mexico CCW license. This class will take place over two days, normally a Saturday and Sunday. Day one consists of a classroom session covering soft skills you will need to know to function as a responsibly armed citizen. We will spend the entire second day on the range. This portion of the class will cover the hard skills needed to carry a firearm for self-defense. We will fire 100-150 rounds before qualification on the range to prepare you for carrying a concealed handgun.

Concealed Carry
This is a 17 hour class consisting of:
•NM gun laws
•Home defense concepts
•Mindset and situational awareness
•Safe storage of handguns
•Firearms safety
•Fundamentals of marksmanship
•Drawing from a holster
•Reloading handguns
•Handgun malfunctions

This course requires:
•Full sized firearm
•Strong side hip, outside the waistband holster (nylon holsters, inside the waist band holsters are not allowed)
•Spare magazine pouch
•2 magazines minimum
•100-150 rounds in the caliber of your handgun

This CCW class will provide the required training in order to apply for an NM CCW license. Our class is different however in the fact that we will spend one day of this two day class on the range practicing all the skills you’ve learned. Students will fire 100-150 rounds prior to qualification
