Michael started his training in a traditional Hapkido program in 1995. In 1998 he moved to a grappling/kickboxing school and studied under Greg Jackson for two years. After that Michael studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing with Chris Ballard at Champions Martial Arts. For the past four years Michael has been teaching and passing on the joy of martial arts to students of all ages. For the last three years he has bee the After School Martial Arts Instructor at Monte Vista Elementary.

Hey all! We just received word we won't be able to use the union hall tonight. Martial arts will be moved one block down. We'll meet right in front of Monte Vista elementary on the grass lawn at 5:30. See you there!
