We are thrilled about this project that Marlena Livingston has dreamed up for the north entrance! Notice that she chose New Mexican plants and scenes - the left is morning/day while the right is evening/night. She'll be working on this through the summer.
If you want to help bring this beautiful art piece to life, it will cost $1500. You can give a gift to www.givebutter.com/giveinhora with a note that you want it to go towards this.

Thómas moved into Inhora. He’s brought with him a bit of an Edgewood and Santa Fe fan club. He gets more mail than any of us - we’re not jealous, of course.
He has been deeply, lovingly involved in his Good Shepherd church community. Here are some things that his friends and family wrote to him (all shared with his permission):
“I laugh when I remember working together to clean up the tumbleweeds….You went and told our [neighbor that he should do the same] and he listened. Later the whole area was clean - a job well done!”
“Please know the Lord is always with you and keeping you close to Him.”
“Hope to see you back soon :)”
“I wondered if there was someone in the Bible who could not walk [like you]? Then, it quickly came to me…there is someone….The reason he could not walk is because his legs were nailed to a cross…Like him, your situation will change into glory and joy that nothing will be able to take away.”

We are always looking for new ways to bring beauty into our home and our guests here at Inhora. Whether that be fresh flowers, art, music or landscaping. What are some more ways we can bring beauty into our home?

This network is making real the dream that we have that everyone would have a home at their hour of death - one home, one guest at a time.
You can make a difference! Giving $26 in 2026 - a meaningful gift that adds up to a powerful impact when we participate together. These contributions help us expand education, provide mentoring to homes and developing projects and grow our national network dedicated to community-based end-of-life care.
It’s more than a donation. It’s a shared commitment to ensuring that people across the country have access to compassionate homes at the end of life.
Give $26 today to help power the movement bringing end-of-life care homes to communities nationwide.

Why This Series Matters
After caring for more than 1,000 people at the end of life, and training over 400,000 people on how to care for someone who is dying, I have learned something extraordinary:
Death is not a medical experience. It is a human one.
And changing that perspective around death can transform your experience of it overnight.
Again and again, the dying share the same truths:
Love is what matters most.
Relationships are everything.
Fear keeps us from truly living.
Forgiveness brings freedom.
There is far more to life than we realize.
These teachings have the power to transform how we approach:
Caregiving
Grief
Aging
Purpose
And the precious gift of life we’ve been given
It’s Time to Return to the Sacred
This series is not just about death.
It is about learning how to LIVE FULLY.
It is about bringing back the sacredness of death so we can bring back the sacredness of life.
When we sit with these truths month after month, something shifts:
How we love
How we forgive
How we show up as caregivers
How we make decisions
How we hold our own mortality
What Participants Are Saying
“That was magnificent! I was trained as a palliative care counsellor at a very prominent residence in the greater Montreal area. Our training was exceptional. I never thought anything would exceed that threshold, but you did it Suzanne. Simply wonderful GOOD DEATH Seminar presentation. I hope to catch all the other 11 workshops as well. Grateful.”

Inhora executive director, Miles Gloetzner, shares a reflection about the movie Interstellar. He says that while the movie was truly “stellar” it fell short in its portrayal of death. Read his thoughts here at www.inhora.org/interstellar-and-death.
