This was posted by my daughter,Courtney, who lost her husband , Wade Jackson last week due to a boating accident.

It is not a tragedy if you die doing what you love.

Wade would tell me this over the course of our marriage and sadly last week it came true. If you know Wade, you know that being outdoors surrounded by nature was quite simply his passion. It was where he would gather strength and find his inner peace. And while it is still devastating, the girls and I are finding some measure of solace in knowing he was exactly where he wanted to be – outdoors, on the lake, surrounded by mountains.

The girls and I are making arrangements and will share them when we can. For now, we want you all to know how deeply grateful we are for all of the kindness we have received and the support we have been given. We will move forward one day at a time with love, compassion and all the best memories of our devoted daddy and husband.
