Sexual violence affects LGBTQIA+ people at disproportionate rates. Inclusive, culturally responsive care is not optional — it is essential.

We remain committed to ensuring every person has access to safe, affirming, and survivor-centered services, no matter who they are or who they love.

Funding survivor housing services isn’t a choice. It’s a critical lifeline. We're grateful to Albuquerque City Councilor Nichole Rogers for introducing an amendment to the City Budget to restore $586,000 in funding for housing for survivors to Enlace Comunitario.

Asking for help is not weakness. Talking about what you're going through is not weakness. Real friendships and relationships are built on honesty and that takes courage. It might not always be easy but it’s worth it. It starts with us.
