As I look back on the past three years at UNM, I am filled with so much gratitude for the opportunity to work with such an amazing organization. I am thankful for each opportunity I’ve had to photograph events, design graphics, create posts, and meet so many incredible artists and peers. Thank you, SSE, for the unforgettable memories and the chance to grow both personally and professionally.

🎓✨ Thomas Valenzuela, our Spring 2024 Assistant Director for Student Special Events! He orchestrated the university’s largest music festival, Fiestas, showcasing his talent in securing top musical acts and planning the event. His management of on-stage activities kept Fiestas running smoothly, proving crucial in making the event a success.
🌟 Graduating with a BBA with a concentration in Marketing, setting a new standard for executing amazing events through his hard work and thorough planning.

Andreas Bilger, our phenomenal leader of Student Special Events! From his role as Assistant Director for two years to now proudly serving as the Executive Director, Andreas has been the creative force behind over 15 major extraordinary events at UNM.
