Conditions:
The client has severe mental health issues that cause them to have no motivation and they tend to not take care of themselves, they don't eat properly, don't bathe everyday, don't brush their teeth everyday, don't brush their hair everyday, they sometimes don't drink water, dishes pile up and sit in the sink for weeks at a time, food spoils, cat litter cleaning, clothes piled in piles that are dirty, hampers full of clean clothes, all areas of the apartment are neglected of cleanliness.
Mental Diagnosis:
Schizoaffective Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and ADHD.
Hobbies & Interests:
Reading, writing, arts & crafts, blogging, playing with my cat and doggo, watching TV shows and movies, shopping.
Want to start walking, hiking, visiting trails, etc.
Structured Day:
Wake up, take the dog to use the bathroom outside, eat, take meds, brush hair and teeth, go to work, clock out, work, lunch, take meds, work, clock out, go home, take a shower, brush hair, shop if needed, prepare and cook food, feed doggo, feed cat, feed themselves, clean dishes, any other chores, take meds, brush teeth, wind down, get ready for bed.
Your job is to be a caregiver and a companion.
Caregiver- a person who gives care to people who need help taking care of themselves.
Companion- is someone who provides care for a disabled person by providing “fellowship,” which means engaging them in social, physical or mental activities, and “protection,” which means monitoring their safety inside and outside of the home.
Be friendly and don't judge.
Judgment FREE zone.
If anything happens, call 911!
Your safety is important and so is the patient's safety!
Duties:
Arrive at location.
Clock in on the app.
Motivate client to shower.
Motivate client to brush her hair.
Motivate client to cook dinner.
Motivate client to take meds with or after meal.
Motivate client to brush teeth after meal.
Assist in meal prepping if need be.
Motivate client to wash the dishes.
Motivate client to condense any leftovers into containers.
Motivate client to wash clothes, bedding, and linen on certain days of the week.
Motivate client to clean all areas in the apartment.
Motivate client to do some exercise by taking her to the gym or taking a walk.
If client wants to indulge in hobbies, make sure she does the main list above.
Clock out.
Be aware this is a working-disabled client.
She has a full-time job but struggles in all of the areas stated above.
Hours & Pay:
Hours: (No negotiations)
Sunday 5:30-8:30 (3hrs) Req.
Tuesday 6:30-9:00 (2.5hrs) Req.
Thursday: 6:30-9:00 (2.5) Req.
Total: 8 hrs
Negotiable (4 hours) times:
Thursdays & Sundays you can add more hours if wanted.
Mondays after 6:00 pm.
Wednesdays after 6:00 pm.
Fridays after 6:00 pm.
Saturdays after 6:00 pm.
Total Hours Offered: 12 hours a week, more if wanted.
Mileage reimbursed: $0.50 cents a mile.
Pay: $12.00 an hour.
In-person or virtual interviews will be done by her to get a feel and vibe of the caregiver.
