Eliza is the only living donor from New Mexico competing in this year’s Transplant Games in Denver, Colorado.

Twelve years ago, Eliza made the selfless decision to donate a kidney to her father, giving him the gift of life. Now, she’s taking on a new challenge as she prepares to run the 5K, with the opportunity to qualify for the World Transplant Games in Belgium.

Before her donation, doctors emphasized how important staying active and exercising would be. Eliza took that advice to heart. She found Republiq, embraced a healthy lifestyle, and has never looked back.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of the impact of organ donation, the importance of fitness, and what’s possible with determination and perseverance.
