SOMOS Albuquerque is a collaborative effort -- by all the people who've been contemplating a full-blown, city-wide celebration in downtown for years -- with a philanthropic goal and an eye towards sustainability.

Our open call is live, and while many folks think of SOMOS as a place for music and performance (which it absolutely is), we want to highlight something especially important right now:
We are actively seeking proposals that involve collaboration, imagination, and shared creation.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Large-scale art installations
• Making activities & hands-on workshops
• Performers & troupes
• Collectives & community organizations
• Interactive experiences
• Or any other gift you can bring to the SOMOS community
Applications are funded and due January 15, and we’ll be sharing reminders and inspiration along the way.
