Allie has that smile that lights up the room and Matt has that sense of humor that keeps you laughing all night! Together these two make that beautiful couple others are envious about. However, when you hang around them long enough, their love and passion is contagious! There is not a person who is not affected by the Allie and Matt spell of optimism, abundant joy, and true, beautiful love. Planning a wedding around Covid, had it’s stressful moments, I’m sure. There were loved one’s who could not attend, including Matt’s Brother who delivered his speech via a pre-recorded video message. As difficult as that was, Allie and Matt did not let it spoil their day and in some respects, the more intimate wedding suited the couple just fine. Surrounded by love and laughter of their immediate family members, this day will go down in history for this couple as one of the most impactful days of their lives. Allie and Matt, thank you for the lovely hospitality you bestowed on my team and for the opportunity to capture your magical day! For Ben and Nicole’s Wedding day edit, I went in a different direction. After perusing the couple’s wedding website, which I often do to get to know them better, I found this beautiful poem titled, “Recognition”, on one of their pages. This poem, written by Paul Kane, has a very special meaning to this couple. As Nicole said in her vows, when she met Benjamin, the ground literally moved under her feet. So, who could blame me for using it as my inspiration in the edit. And what better place to represent all that spoken about in this poem, but the natural elements that make up Los Poblanos Inn and Organic Farm. Needless to say, I think the ground moved all of us after listening to Ben’s tearful vows. Rainwater trickling….actually, lots of tears trickling for this one. Nicole and Ben, your relationship will move mountains and we are thrilled to have been part of your day! Congratulations to you both!! XOXOXO
