and career opportunities. GJ youth members build the skills and agency to shift the future of media. These skills are combined with love of self and community, media/social justice, and critical thinking to produce quality narratives that represent New Mexico. In addition, Generation Justice provides a one-year fellowship program for current college students of color interested in careers in media and journalism. The GJ Fellows program is a career pipeline for young journalists of color. It offers intense hands-on training as well as networking and training opportunities with seasoned journalists and media advocates nationwide. Our hope is to build a community of informed, educated, skilled, engaged citizens who will not hesitate to use the power of media as a tool for social justice.
