Making bouquets out of wildflowers: For drivers' safety, city cuts plants in park and repurposes them 09/06/2024

An art project focusing on city employees for the City of Albuquerque to place approximately 8 months ago. The photographer that visited was a hoot. Extremely friendly but a master at her craft photography. She was adamant about every division having her photos used. We wondered what occurred with images from the greenhouse. Didn't think much of it a couple months later, life at the Greenhouse was wild.

Doing work inside Parks administration, I was asked if I had seen my picture. Puzzled, I looked at Bobbie with a sense of eager confusion. I thought she was talking about one of mine. Did I manage to take a photo the higher administrative staff thought was worthy of promotion? Did I create a master piece that the mayor insisted being hung?

Well, it was my photo...a photograph of me. I was shocked. "Hey that's me!" Poinsettias and Mike, Christmas all the time on that photo.
