There once was a man, who wanted to be remembered.
He built a monument so that those who gazed upon it would ponder to themselves “this looks important”.
He made an inscription on it to tell all “this is important”.
To all those who knew what it was. It was indeed important. Until no one knew what it was.

Today I’m traveling to Washington DC to perform a couple shows with my band.
I feel I haven’t been indulging myself in being excited for certain things in my life lately. This trip is one I’ve been holding back on my enthusiasm for. The past couple months have been pretty difficult ones but I’m definitely in a better place and am ready to just let loose and have a great time.
Send me some love and suggestions for the city if you will. It’s my first time going to be there. 😁
