Working Classroom is a multi-ethnic, inter-generational community of student & professional artists, writers, actors and directors with a conscious commitment to supporting new and diverse voices and visions in the arts. The underrepresentation and caricature of historically ignored communities hampers our understanding of who we are as a nation, how we interpret our past and contemplate our futur
This April come learn color theory, color mixing, and basic drawing techniques this month with the master, Manuel. All ages, all levels, Tuesdays 2-7.

We encourage you to support an incredible community leader - Ernest “Mr. Mack” McMillan. In the handful of years he has made Albuquerque his home, he made a major impact sharing stories of his life as a Civil Justice activist, performing artist, writer and educator. Working Classroom Youth Arts Leaders have had the opportunity to learn about creating their vision as leaders through his mentorship. Our organization would also not be the same without the impact his daughter, Dafina, has had as a consultant - a legacy of creative service that continues across the country and beyond to future ancestors.
