The New Mexico National Guard (NMNG), is commitment to eliminate sexual assault from our ranks. We are taking important steps to eliminate sexual assault, and we will ensure our Soldiers and Airmen operate in a safe environment. Denim Day 29 April 2026.Denim Day is an annual awareness day and international movement to show support for survivors of sexual assault. NMNG members are highly encouraged to participate. We kindly ask you to wear denim pants with a Teal top. The Teal is the color for SA awareness and New Mexico's state color. The New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
29 April is officially Denim Day an International event. Persons participating wear Denim on this day to bring Sexual Assault Awareness. NMNG members are highly encouraged to wear denim pants with a teal colored shirt on this day. Thank you for your support.
