mother’s day can be a difficult time for those of us with challenging and complicated relationships with our mothers / mother figure(s). as a way to process and connect through our experiences, and find care and community with one another, we are hosting a day of grief and land tending at ashokra farm.
join us for a grief circle, land tending, and closing ritual with the intention of loving, supporting, and holding ourselves through this complicated day.

this space is for people who have / had difficult, painful, challenging, and / or traumatic experiences with their mothers / mother figure(s), and for whom mother’s day brings up hard and complex feelings.
about mai: mai is a writer, facilitator, and community grief care practitioner. mai works with grief, writing, and storytelling as doorways and guides to loving and life affirming ways of being — with ourselves, each other, and the earth.
