With these friends exposing themselves to high risk of hepatitis C, endocartitis (infections of the heart), HIV, and other blood borne infections, we strive to help them avoid these diseases through education, sterile products, first aid products, and leading them to paths of sobriety. We encourage them to bring used syringes to us so they can be disposed of properly and do not pose a danger to children, law enforcement, and the general population. We show our friends love and acceptance as we help them find a release from the bondage of addiction. Also through this program, we supply injection supplies to diabetics and others who use prescription medications. UHRI is located in Grace Place and our hours are:
-Tuesdays: 2pm-4pm
