Save the date!!! Love Your Block will be assisting with its first ever Stop the Violence Block Party to address increasing instances of gun violence in our community with Arbor Hill residents on Saturday 9/2 from 12 - 6 pm in the parking lot of Neighborhood and Community Services located at 200 Henry Johnson Blvd.

We understands that many of the root causes of violence stem from not having one's needs met combined with systemic oppression and trauma, we will be prioritizing resource distribution, handing out educational materials on city services as well as providing hands on workshops. All workshops will be taking place in the second floor conference room of 200 Henry Johnson Blvd with sign up sheets for each one hour time slot. Various nonprofit organizations and other City Departments will also be participating as vendors.

We invite all of our volunteers, partners, and other Love Your Block affiliates to attend this Block Party to help spread awareness, celebrate community, and pick up some free resources.

We are so excited to be apart of this important event for the community and hope to see you there!
