For 250 years, America has stood as a testament to the enduring blessings of freedom.
This Independence Day, we celebrate not only our nation's history, but the faith, courage, and determination of the men and women who built it. Through triumphs and trials, God's hand has guided generations of Americans who believed in something greater than themselves and worked to leave behind them a better country for those who would follow.
At Flint Community Bank, we're proud to call this community home and honored to serve the families, businesses, leaders and neighbors who make it strong.
Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom, and we give thanks for the many blessings that make America worth celebrating.
Happy Fourth of July, and may God continue to bless America.

At Flint Community Bank, one of our Core Values is “Investing in the Future,” and our Junior Board of Directors program is one of the many ways we put that value into action.
As we reflect on another successful year of our Junior Board program, we are proud to recognize these outstanding students who dedicated their time, talents, and ideas throughout the 2025-2026 term. Their curiosity, leadership, creativity, and willingness to learn made a lasting impression on our Junior Board Advisors and the entire Flint Family.
This year’s Junior Board members were Devon Phillips & Eva Paudel (Lee County High School), Gage Tomlinson (Deerfield-Windsor School), Brantley Barcus (Homeschool Association), Brody Brown (Sherwood Christian Academy), Zachary Martin (Terrell Academy), Adah Schluckebier (Byne Christian School), Makenzie Smith (Dougherty Comprehensive High School), Makayla Harden & Antonio Guest (Monroe Comprehensive High School), and Kate Orme & Mykenzie Martin (Westover Comprehensive High School).
We would also like to extend a special congratulations to Makayla Harden, recipient of the $1,000 Flint Community Bank Junior Board of Directors Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to the Junior Board member who exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, community involvement, strong character, and a commitment to making the most of the Junior Board experience. Selected by Flint Community Bank’s Junior Board Advisory Group, Makayla distinguished herself through her service, achievements, and dedication throughout the year. We are honored to support her as she pursues her educational goals and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Thank you to each of our Junior Board members for allowing us to be part of your leadership journey. We are confident the future of our community is brighter because of young leaders like you.
Congratulations, Junior Board Class of 2025-2026!
