Tornado Risk increased across the Capital region...
5% risk has been expanded to the Mohawk Valley and into the Adirondacks, this does include the immediate Capital Region, all of Vermont and northern Berkshire county.
Doesn't change the messaging, this does not guarantee a tornado, as our main concern will still be for damaging winds, but any storm that develops will have the ability to rotate. We will keep you updated all day long

A popular event that’s deemed the ultimate girls’ day out in the Capital Region is moving to a new venue in 2027. The 17th Annual New York Women’s Expo is moving from Albany to Schenectady’s new M&T Bank Center.

The expo is a weekend of connecting with the community, women’s wellness, beauty, and shopping. Attendees can expect free samples, giveaways, live demonstrations, and much more.
