There are over 39 MLS systems throughout New York State. These MLS systems are designed to support sharing listings amongst REALTORS© however, the residential buyer/seller market is now viewing the data fields as well. Some of the listings include energy efficiency data whereas others do not. The certifications, attributes and methodologies measuring home energy performance vary across the market.

Millennials want tech gadgets to save energy. But can they afford them? Young people are most likely to have college degrees, but still be unemployed. That's a big drawback for a demographic that's trying to take the lead on energy solutions.
