One of the major activities of the American Legion Auxiliary is caring for disabled veterans of all wars and conflicts and assisting thousands of other veterans to regain a place in civilian life. Women, who themselves have experienced the sufferings of war; can offer that warmth and understanding which no agency can. The American Legion Auxiliary also supports Children and Youth Activities, Disaster Relieve Activities, Patriotism, Peace & Security, and the American Legion ideals and principals.

September 11, 2025, is designated as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, also known as Patriot Day. It is a day to honor the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and to encourage acts of service and remembrance.
Here's how you can participate:
