Monteith House

Monteith House

The Monteith House was built in 1849 by brothers Thomas and Walter Monteith. It was the first frame house built in Albany and they built the house with the centerline between their land claims. The Monteith family was instrumental in the development of Albany and with high aspirations named it after the capital of their home state: New York.

Our first ever “My Bloody Valentine” event was a frightfully good time! Did you attend, or do you have FOMO looking at these pictures? A big “thank you!” to everyone who spent their Valentine’s Day with us, and to our amazing volunteers who shared ghost stories, prepped charcuterie, and even played the theremin! Join us again next year…if you dare! 🔪💔 👻
