Friday was nice and quiet, today will be a little more active đŸŒŠī¸

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will become likely as the day progresses, arriving in two different rounds. The first round (midday/early-afternoon) will be mainly non-severe, but the second (late-afternoon/early evening) could involve some strong storms with gusty winds, hail and even an isolated tornado âš ī¸

A strong ridge of high pressure remains over the Central US, while a strong area of low pressure spins over Eastern Canada. In between the two, a stream of high winds blowing wildfire smoke and haze into the Great Lakes and Northeast â˜ī¸

Hazy skies are expected to continue tomorrow with impacts to air quality likely. Some relief could arrive Thursday night into Friday behind a cold front â›…ī¸
