I’m sharing this more for the comments than the graphic. They’re hard to read and not get angry. Let me reassure anyone that works for or with me that there is no consequence for seeking me out and asking for help and I am proud of each and every one of you that routinely engages in open dialogue with me about these very sensitive topics. When I came into emergency services, I wouldn’t have dreamed of sitting in a chief’s office and asking the kinds of questions that some of my people do. I’m proud to say we have come a long way from those days and the door to my office is open and people don’t even care to close it when they want to talk. We are tearing down the stigma in Georgia one discussion at a time.
