Families in our city are struggling.
Right now, there are kids about to start school with no backpack, no supplies, and no fresh haircut. Some are walking into the classroom already feeling left behind — and that’s not okay.

On August 16th, AkronUnity will be hosting our 1st Annual Back 2 School Giveaway to change that. We’ll be giving away free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, hairstyles, nail services, and food — but we can’t do it alone.

We still need:
📦 Donations of backpacks & supplies
💵 Monetary contributions to help cover costs
💪 Volunteers to help the day of the event

At AkronUnity, we believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools to succeed. This August 16th, at our 1st Annual Back-to-School Giveaway, we are showing up for our community’s youth—but we can’t do it without your help.

For just $30, you can fully sponsor one child—providing them with:

📚 Essential school supplies

💅 A nail service to boost self-esteem
