This spring, Alchemy’s Founder/Executive Director Kwame Scruggs visited 6 Akron program sites to sit in on the (sacred circles) with our wildly seasoned facilitators (mentors). NYC-based trainings and a pilot school program have shifted Kwame’s work from the classroom to a focus on program replication, oversight, evaluation and more, so the team of local facilitators/storytellers has been leading the hands-on work with our youth here in Akron.
