May is National Foster Care Month. This year, we are placing special emphasis on the important role that people from all parts of child welfare play in supporting children, youth, and families.
Every child deserves a safe, loving, and nurturing environment to thrive. Becoming a CASA/GAL volunteer gives a voice to children who have experienced abuse and neglect and supports those in the child welfare system. To learn more, please visit https://bit.ly/2Vlt0DG.
CASA programs have existed in Ohio since 1980. That's 46 years of advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect in our state. It's a legacy we are incredibly proud of, and a legacy that is going to continue for years to come, thanks to folks like yourself who want to make a big impact in a child's life.
