Join us on June 11, from 5 to 9 pm, for Akron ArtWalk, with the theme "Unapologetically Us," celebrating authenticity, creative expression, and community.

Visitors will find several activities related to self-expression and authenticity:

🏳️‍🌈 The Bayard Rustin LGBTQ+ Resource Center will be on site with a resource table.

🌈Canapi Akron () and Akron Pride () have a joint resource table where visitors can learn more about their services and support.

📖Akron-Summit County Public Library will be on-site and will have a resource table.

🏢Summit Artspace’s resident artists will open their studios to the public throughout the evening.

🎨A variety of pop-up artist vendors, will have tables set-up.

☀️Resident Artist Althea Jones will be leading an expressive chalking activity outside.

⭐🫶🏾StarFall Creative Collective will be hosting an Affirmation Reflection Cards activity inside the building.

🛹🎤Still Aawful 2: Skate Jam + Block Party':
Exhibiting artist Aaron D. Williams (aawfulaaron) is hosting a live cipher on the loading docks of Summit Artspace.
Advocate Skateworks () and Aaron D. Williams will be running a pop-up skate park outside the building.

🧠A Sensory/Quiet Room on Summit Artspace’s 1st floor will offer a calming atmosphere and feature various Accessibility Library items.

😋Food will be available from Southern Comfort Food () and Heights Tropical Sno ().
