Verbum Farm

Gettin' there.

Planting for my little all-natural or organic operation is kind of different (and slower) than what you may do or see on thousands of acres of cash crop, like bean/corn/wheat rotation. But it does work.

Most of what you see there by area are cucurbits (squash, pumpkins, that family), in standard "market garden" 100-foot rows with 4-foot spacing. Some other rows are exotics like to***co and cotton, along with perennials and sweet corns.

Some crops I do have some limited fresh produce value, but most become seed for online sales.

Although many of you, my customers and friends and family, know Verbum Farm products as the delicious, nutritious, and humanely raised animal ones, the garden is actually my first love of the farm work 😍 And thank God, the seed sales have really, really taken off this year!
