Adel, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Tifton, Adel, Sparks, Enigma, Omega, Lenox, Ty Ty, Unionville,
Phillipsburg, Ellenton, Reed Bingham State Park, Eldorado, Massee,
Flat Ford, Wagon Wheel, Vanceville, Hillsdale, Cook Co A/P, Cool
Spring, and Staunton.

AFFECTS: Berrien, GA; Colquitt, GA; Cook, GA; Tift, GA

Flash Flood Warning issued May 13 at 12:13AM EDT until May 13 at 1:15AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

SUMMARY:

At 1213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Adel, Sparks, Greggs, Pine Valley, Cook Co A/P and Barney.

AFFECTS: Brooks, GA; Cook, GA

INSTRUCTION: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
