April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

We will not stay silent.

Sexual violence impacts far too many, yet behind every statistic is a survivor who has shown unimaginable strength. To every person who has endured, survived, and continues to rise, you are powerful, you are seen, and you are not defined by what was done to you.Your resilience is not invisible. Your voice matters.

This April, we ask our community to wear teal as a symbol of support, solidarity, and a commitment to ending sexual violence. Awareness is not enough we must listen, believe, and stand beside survivors every day.

At Aspire Counseling Center, we care. We are here to provide a safe space for healing, to uplift, and to walk alongside those on their journey toward reclaiming their lives.

At Aspire Counseling Center, we are dedicated to supporting survivors and spreading awareness about the impact of domestic violence.

This month, I had the honor of attending the “It Ends With Us Movement” Gala and what an amazing event it was! So many incredible women came together in strength and solidarity. Hearing Dana Roppo, a victim and survivor, share her powerful journey was truly inspiring.

Please keep an eye out for Dana and her nonprofit organization, “It Ends With Us Movement,” as she continues to make a difference in the lives of so many.

Together, we can raise awareness, offer hope, and work toward ending domestic violence once and for all.

This isn’t just a fun night out - it’s supporting an incredible cause. Every dollar goes toward helping survivors of domestic violence and mental health healing through local organizations like WINGS, Northeast Dupage Family & Youth Services, and Metropolitan Family Services.

The vision is beautiful: creating meaningful fundraisers every October for domestic violence prevention and generational trauma healing, plus empowering women’s wellness events in April, with complimentary events throughout the year.

Both adults and teens are welcome! It’s going to be such a meaningful and inspiring evening.
