Face the Muisc Lessons

A lifetime skill, something you’ll never lose. A love for music is like a love for literature. When you finish a good book, pages filled with lots of challenges to overcome, it’s like you’ve grown with the story by the end. Also with a song, once you conquer what seemed unconquerable, you feel like you’ve grown! That’s my favorite part of being a music teacher, is helping people see their potential and amaze themselves with what they, and we, are all capable of: growth.📈

My student (who played this piece so beautifully!!) has been with Face the Music for the longest! This video is from last year(Piano Adventures book 1 Ferris Wheel), and since then she has grown so much as a musician. She has stuck with her practice, has improved upon her skills, and she is now in the second book and doing an amazing job!! 🎹

I can’t imagine a happier feeling than teaching music, and I want to extend that joy to my students so they feel excited to learn and happy to improve upon their talents. 🖤🎹🎵
