Somehow we ended up with each other, two people who get just as excited about a 6am hike as a dinner reservation, stress-research activities in towns we haven’t booked yet, and think “we should just go” is a perfectly reasonable response to a good flight deal.

Not everyone finds someone who shares their actual vision for life, the trips, the adventures, the intentional life we’re building between them.

Neither of us is waiting for retirement to start living, and that shared mindset makes everything easier, the planning, the sacrifices to make travel happen, and honestly just the day to day. We don’t take that for granted for a single second.

Some of these? A few years old. Still sitting there. Waiting. Judging me.

Banff, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Iceland, New Zealand, all just chilling in my phone and on my cameras memory card like “so are you ever going to post us or what.”

The answer is apparently yes. Today is the day.
