I never leave glass or crystal decanters behind at the thrift store!! Now - the lead of it all… first, you can buy lead testing kits for ceramic or glass online. Second, per the EPA, human skin doesn’t absorb lead through water. Third, I use these salts almost daily so they aren’t sitting in this decanter long (yes, this one does have lead). And fourth, and most importantly, I’ve done my own research and this is a risk I am personally comfortable with (but no, I’d never put ingestible liquids in here). So ultimately, it’s your choice and you should do your own research on the issue before making it!
