Learning healthier ways to cope, think and respond in situations has allowed me to move forward in ways that not only benefit my own life but also in ways that benefit and support my loved ones and their recovery paths. Over the last few years, I have come to understand that no one is responsible for their loved ones’ sobriety. However, I am a strong believer that those who truly understand addiction and take the time to focus on their own recovery from this disease CAN help increase their loved one’s chances at long-term sobriety. Experiencing firsthand and seeing in others how amazing family recovery can be, I am grateful for the opportunity to share and serve others on their own journey.
