🐣 Fun fact: If you start incubating chicken eggs today, they’ll hatch right around Easter.

Another interesting thing about incubation—during the last few days (day 18–21), there’s a stage called “lockdown.”

When you candle the egg during this time, you usually won’t see any movement. Nothing seems to be happening. It can make you wonder if anything is going to happen at all.

Then suddenly… the shell cracks.
And new life begins to emerge.

It always reminds me of the days between Jesus’ death and resurrection—when it looked like hope was gone and everything seemed silent.

But behind the silence, something incredible was happening. ✝️
