Whistle Stop RV Resort is Abilene's 2nd newest RV Resort, but we are still the BEST. We offer large pull-thru (big enough for large diesel pushers with tow behind vehicles/trailers), pull-in, and back-in sites. We also have a small convenience store located in our office, large clubhouse for meetings and groups, swimming pool, lighted pickleball court, regulation sand volley ball pit, private bath

It's a hot one out there! We are under an extreme heat warning, so please stay hydrated and cool. If you and yours are going you try and beat the heat in the pool, please remember to use sunscreen as UV rays are extreme today! This is a friendly reminder that our pool is for usK9e by our guests only, and pool passes must be worn by all users.
Any swimmers that are not guests or guests of our guests (these are restricted to two swimmers per site), will receive a criminal trespass warning from APD and removed from our private property.
We may see a severe thunderstorm and/or precipitation this evening around 7pm.
We currently remain completely full for long-term sites. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I just want to make everyone aware that there is a possibility for severe weather tonight. While more often than not, these storms split Abilene, there is that chance they may not. Please stay weather aware if you are in our area. Weather is far from a perfect science, and I care about everyone in the resort ❤️
