By day, Dondi helps keep our ReStore running and serves our community alongside his team. But outside the office? He’s usually cheering on his favorite teams, spending time with his family, hanging out in his man cave, or staying busy helping someone out. On the rare occasion he slows down, you might even find him enjoying a cruise. 🌴

Fueled by family, community, and a heart for helping others, Dondi has never met a stranger and is the kind of person who quietly shows up when people need him. Whether he’s helping volunteers with things around the house or spending time with the people he loves most, one thing is certain… beneath the sports fan exterior is a giant teddy bear with a heart of gold. 💛

By day, Christy helps guide families through the journey to homeownership at Habitat. But outside the office? She’s usually hiking with her dogs, spending time with her family, reading, writing, or learning something new just for the fun of it. 🤎

Fueled by faith, curiosity, and a love for all the old-school things people seem to be forgetting, Christy believes life is best lived a little slower… preferably outdoors with the people (and dogs) she loves most.

🎣 In their Natural Habitat: Meet Chris

By day, Chris helps keep things moving on Habitat build sites as one of our construction supervisors. When he’s not on a Habitat job site, Chris can usually be found doing one of two things: fishing or grilling carne asada. And honestly? That sounds like a pretty solid way to spend a weekend. 🔥🐟

Whether he’s casting a line or standing over the grill, Chris keeps things simple: good food, fresh air, and time outdoors.

This week, four hardworking Habitat families received laptops through our partnership with E2D – Eliminate the Digital Divide, helping open doors to education, career growth, financial stability, and new opportunities.

These families are doing the work every single day… showing up for sweat equity, budgeting, parenting, working, learning, and building brighter futures from the ground up. We’re proud to stand beside them on that journey. 🏡❤️
