We have some heartfelt news to share: instead of focusing on growing our bakery, we will be growing our family! We’re thrilled to announce that a new baby is coming in June. Family has always been our top priority, and this journey is no exception. We can’t wait to welcome our newest baker this summer.

You all know Cookie, our original Iggy. She used to be in often and stamped our bags and helped around the dining area. Sadly, She has dementia and it’s been getting worse and she needs more care from my mom and our family. We want to make the most of our time together, giving her as many adventures as we can. Iggy, our octopus, was truly inspired by her spirit; she loves to travel, even if she can’t fully remember the experiences.

From day one, you have witnessed the heart and soul we poured into creating something special for our community. We transformed an abandoned building into a warm, welcoming space filled with love, delicious desserts, and new friendships. Getting to know all of you has been a joy. The experience we gained as business owners has been priceless. Now we know we can do it and the overwhelming success and support we received from all of you has been a dream.

Unfortunately, as many of you know, we’ve had ongoing issues with our landlord, and those challenges have not improved. Coupled with the rising concerns about safety in and around our storefront due to increased loitering, homelessness and the closing of nearby restaurants, these factors have weighed heavily on us. However, we have never slowed down in our online orders, catering, and events. So It makes perfect sense for us to let go of the storefront and change our business model to focus on continuing our business online and at local markets. It’s gives us more time with our family and allows us to keep Say Delicious alive.

We’re also excited to share that we are in the process of partnering with two companies to manufacture our cookie dough. This means that not only will our community enjoy our cookies fresh from their own kitchens, but we’ll be able to reach customers across the country!

This isn’t goodbye; it’s see you soon. We look forward to continuing our journey with all of you in new and exciting ways.
Our last day open will be February 15th. We will have new cookies every week until then to keep things fun and exciting until we close our doors. We hope to see you as much as possible until then. Thank you for making my dream a reality and choosing to spend your weekends with us.
