One of the more frustrating facts about the brain is that it isn’t fully developed until our mid-20s. The prefrontal cortex (the part responsible for judgment, planning, and impulse control) is still under construction throughout the teen years.

As a brain therapist, I think that’s fascinating.

As a mom…it explains a lot. 😜

Addison, we couldn’t be more proud of who you are becoming. I am in awe of you every day and we all love it when you “bless us with your presence” in the office.
