2x! Plus sizes are so difficult to come by. When I can get them they’re like a unicorn! I love the cherries. So spring/summer! And if you want to wear red but not literally be dripping in flags for the 4th of July…this is perfect! And…can wear all year! Ok…maybe not December…but MOST of the year!

So, if you don’t know my process, here’s how I work. I source jackets 2nd hand. Could be thrift stores, yard sales, online etc. and I do the same for fabric. Could be curtains, doilies, bedskirts(they especially rarely have a 2nd life…I love them) dresses, skirts, etc. these things hang in the sewing room on racks. When I go to make a jacket, it’s kind of organic. I go to what I gravitate towards. Sometimes with a goal, sometimes just whatever draws me. In the case of this cutie, I was purposefully working in children’s sizes. I wanted to add some choices to the selections. So I grabbed the Elsa/Frozen Disney jacket off the jacket rack…and headed towards the rack of fabric choices to find her a buddy…a match…a forever friend. And what do I find??? Frozen fabric! No kidding! A match made in heaven! Just hanging there waiting!
