DON'T FAINT

"If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small" Proverbs 24:10 [NKJV].

It's important to know that after sin entered the world, satan took a foothold on it to cause pain to man until man submits to him. This is why trouble will always be here and in even increasing intensity. We now live in days of adversity. Whatever you are facing today, you can’t afford to be weak You can’t afford to faint spiritually in the trials of life. If you do, you’ll be in trouble because, naturally speaking, things aren’t going to get better in this world, they’re going to get biter and worse.

But glory to Jesus, we know that whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (see 1John 5:4). You therefore have no reason why you must faint. You're born of God through Christ Jesus by faith. And by this very faith you have already overcome any adversity that may come your way.

The principle is simple, spend more time in the Word and not in the world. We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (read Romans 10:17). Apply yourself to the Word, let the Word be the lamp to your feet. As you do, you will realize you have supernatural strengthen springing from within you against any form of adversity that you don't faintin name of Jesus Christ.

DELIGHT IN GOD

"Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart" Psalms 37:4 [AMP].

What does it mean to delight! To delight is to have or take great pleasure or joy or to enjoy. Therefore to delight in God is to have complete pleasure, joy and trust in Him. It's when your full attention is drawn to the LORD and find your satisfaction in Him.

Like the King Solomon said in Proverbs 23:26, "My son, give me your heart And let your eyes delight in my ways" (AMP). You delight in the LORD when you give Him all your focus. You lift yours off yourself and let God live your life. Like Apostle Paul declared, "I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me" (Galatians 2:20|AMP). Yes you delight in God when you're given to Him through Christ Jesus.

One of the most easy way to delight in God is through His. The Word of God reveals the mind of God. The Word gives direction and correction. When you find joy in His Word, it means you have joy in God. Apostle Paul again said in Romans 7:22, "For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man" (NKJV). He had found confidence, comfort and inner peace from the Word of God. The way you treat the Word of God reveals your standing with God. You can't find joy in God and yet His Word be hurtful, boring and snare to you. You ought to say like what the psalmist said inPsalms 119:47, "For I shall delight in Your commandments, Which I love" (AMP). You delight in God by loving His Word.

From scripture we know that it's faith that pleases God (read Hebrews 11:6). Therefore your faith in God depicts your delight in Him. I love how Amplified Bible version puts it in Hebrews 10:38-39, "but My righteous one [the one justified by faith] shall live by faith [respecting man's relationship to God and trusting Him]; and if he draws back [shrinking in fear], My Soul has no delight in Him. But our way is not that of those who shrink back to destruction, but [we are] of those who believe [relying on God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by this confident faith preserve the soul" (AMP). When you live by faith you will live in the delight of the LORD.

The condition of the heart is revealed by what it gives and not what goes in (see Matthew 15:17-20). The heart will reveal your delight in God by what you're able to give. A good account is recorded in 1Chronicles 29:16-17, "O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own.I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You" (NKJV). Their giving to God revealed how dependent and joyful they were in the LORD. They realize it was a pleasure to give back to God and they delighted in giving.

Delighting in God is not only what God requires and expects of you but also what you can give yourself as a gift. As a gift because it's through delighting in God that you show that you appreciate life He's given you. Delighting in God has a promise of making your desires successful. It's therefore for your own benefits to delight in God in name of Jesus Christ.

COMMUNE WITH THE FAITHFUL

"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" 2Timothy 2:22 [NKJV].

Did you know that God too has a communion by which He exists. One good example is in Genesis 1:26. When it came to create man, God said, "..."Let's make man in Our image, according to Our likeliness...". You will note that the statement is plural: "Let's....Our...". And this same nature was transferred to man when God said, "..."it's not good for man to be alone.....make him a suitable helper...." (See Genesis 2:18). God wants and intended us to commune with the faithful.

Am not saying that you completely draw away from the unfaithful. No. But you live in away that your life is an epistle upon which they can read the Word of God. This is why even when Jesus Christ began His earthly ministry, He sought to commune with those He would align their beliefs to the Kingdom of Heaven. He told some fishermen, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men" (see Matthew 4:17-25). Yeah His communion became to be known as His disciples.

You beloved will need to find and commune with those that call on the LORD out of a pure heart. It matters which kind of fellowship and communion you have. You will become what you associate with. When you choose the unfaithful and the wicked, surely it will be a matter of time to be one. But when you choose to commune with the faithful of the LORD, your faith will be built and established.

Have nothing to do with the council of the wicked, pursue the way righteousness that comes by faith in Christ Jesus together with those that call on the LORD in name of Jesus Christ.
*AMEN*

*PRAYER*
His grace has been made available for me to commune and call on the LORD with a pure heart in Jesus Christ name. *AMEN*

STAND AND RESIST

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world" 1Peter 5:8-9 [NKJV].

Just because you received Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savoir didn't give you immunity from satanic attacks. Instead it was invitation for satan to try you out because he's jealous of you. Yes when you received salvation, you received power to withstand satan and be a witness of God here on earth (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 6:10-18). And you have now already overcome satan and the world (John 16:33; 1John 2:13-14; 4:4). This is why you should submit to God stand firm and resist the devil and all his schemes fashioned against you.

You're the premium target for the demonic attacks. Don't be ignorant of that truth. A thief only steals from the house that has valuables. The devil has no business stealing from those that are already his and on his side. But when you declare to be on the side of God and live accidentally to His precepts, satan will come for you, your ministry, your family, career and business. But don't be afraid, just stand firm in the faith and the devil will flee. He's already a defeated foe, at cross at Calvary, he lost and already judged for everlasting torment in hell.

You are however called to, "submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you" (see James 4:7). Yes, this is principle for overcoming. Submission to God first and resistance against satan. Have nothing to do with evil and sin. Do you get that? You will not resist and overcome satan until you first submit to God through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.

Whatever you're going through that is against you was already foretold by Our LORD Jesus Christ in Luke 21:12-19. Unpleasant things shall happen to those of faith in Him. But He exalted us that we must not fear but only stand and resist. He promised to give the Holy Spirit Who will teach us what to say as we resist. He said in verse 15, "for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist" (NKJV).

Don't sleep off in faith, stay alert, test the spirits, watch and pray always without ceasing and your enemy the devil will flee from you and all that's about you the name of Jesus Christ.
*AMEN*

*PRAYER*
I have overcome satan and all his schemes through Christ Jesus and now stand to resist satan by faith in Jesus Christ name. *AMEN*

DON'T ROB GOD

"Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings [you have withheld]" Malachi 3:8 [AMP].

The use of the word "rob" in this scripture I believe is for the purpose of emphasis. Because the word "rob" is mentioned in such a strong tone. In this context, the word "rob" could mean to steal, to deprive of, or withhold from. We know from scriptures that tithes and offerings to God was a command and not a suggestion. So it was a must responsibility to every and each one of the people of God. It was law to bring tithe and offerings to God (see Nehemiah 10:35-39; Numbers 18:1-32; ). Failure to do that, God considered it as stealing from Him. That's why He said you are robbing me.

However robbing God is not only limited to tithes and offerings. Robbing God includes failure to do things God has purposed and intended for you to do and be. There are things according to scriptures that man is ought to do. When you do not do them, you rob God. This can be as simple as to pray (Luke 18:1; 21:36), to love (Matthew 22:36-40; John 15:10), to forgive (Matthew 6:14-15; 18:32-35), to preach the gospel and be His witness (Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 9:60; 2Timothy 4:2), stay healthy, care for the environment (Genesis 2:15), basically not doing what you ought to do.

Ideally any form of disobedience or that which is done contrary to the Word of God is robbing God. Workout therefore your salvation so that you don't rob God in the name of Jesus Christ.

I have received the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus that I now live in obedience of His Word by faith in Jesus Christ name. *AMEN*

HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me" John 10:27 [NKJV].

If I may begin by asking, when was the last time you heard the voice of God? Yes God created man for the fellowship. He purposed to often have conversations with man (see Genesis 3:8-10). Even when they had disobeyed, still they heard the voice of God.

God wants to always speak to man and He expects man to hear His voice and obey Him. This is why He had to send the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ said, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you" (John 14:26|NKJV). And we know that, "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God" (Romans 8:14|NRSV).

God has given us the Holy Spirit that we may hear His voice. Like Jesus Christ said in John 10:27, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me", you will be able to follow because you hear the voice. It's impossible to follow God if you don't hear His voice. You must therefore pursue to hear the voice of Godin the name of Jesus Christ.
*AMEN*

*PRAYER*
Am the sheep of God and I hear His voice in Christ Jesus name.
