Mbale Diocese Chapter

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu arrived this afternoon in Mbale Diocese for his pastoral and farewell visit.

He was welcomed by Bishop John Wilson Nandaah, Clergy and the Laity.

His Grace the Archbishop will lead Service tomorrow at St Andrew's Cathedral Mbale at 9am.

On this Good Friday, Christians of St Andrew's Cathedral, led by Bishop John Wilson Nandah, Rev Can. Eridad Milton Shissa, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, Lord Mayor-elect Joyce Kidulu, RPC, and other dignitaries, embarked on a momentous journey, retracing Christ's path through Mbale City, spreading hope and forgiveness.

Rt Rev John Wilson Nandah urged the faithful to forgive one another, echoing Jesus' words: "Forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." He reflected on Isaiah 53:5, "He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities... by His wounds we are healed."

Through Jesus' sacrifice, we find peace, laying down guilt, pain, and fear at the cross. His love prevails, giving us hope.
