The best training center isn't always a school, sometimes it's the local garage or the neighborhood salon.
The problem of youth unemployment in settlements like Bidi bidi requires local, community-led solutions. CECI identified and assessed artisan centers like Prisca Eva Beauty Saloon, Women Concerns and Ideas (WCI), and Muzamil Auto Spares to provide high-quality, hands-on training. The crisis of "theoretical skilling" is solved when youth are placed where the work actually happens.
The opportunity here is the strengthening of the local business community as they mentor the next generation. Our uniqueness is our commitment to quality assurance through daily attendance tracking and spot checks. The urgency to integrate youth into local business networks is clear; it builds the economic foundation of the settlement. Our vision is a thriving local economy driven by skilled, home-grown talent.
We are looking for partners to help us standardize training at these local artisan centers. DM us to learn more about our capacity-building initiatives.
