Meet the Lappet-faced Vultures — nature’s blunt-force scavengers. Towering over other vultures, with heads painted in shades of blood and flesh, they don’t just clean the wild… they dominate it.

While others wait, they tear first. With beaks built like bone chisels and wingspans stretching beyond 9 feet, they are the first to rip open what death leaves behind. They do the dirty work so others can feed. No glory. Just function.

In the arid heat of Africa, they stand shoulder to shoulder — grim, regal, untouchable. Not hunters. Not killers. But kings of consequence.

The Phasmatodea are an order of insects whose members are variously known as stick insects, stick bugs, walkingsticks, stick animals, or bug sticks.
