Banunule Primary school

ister Manjeri Nakiboneka, to help the many orphaned and underprivileged children in the community. She believed it was her responsibility to aid the parents who were unable to look after and educate their children. Her heart went out to them and she opened up a Sunday school inviting all the children around to come. It slowly grew into a school after the parents encouraged her to take on the responsibility fulltime. Since its inception, Banunule has been able to give free primary level education to 2,000 children. Currently, there are 165 children in all the Classes (Primary or grade 1 – Primary or grade 7) with one stream per class. Banunule plays rugby excellently and is well known for it in Kampala, netball, football, volleyball and many other games. The children are proud of what they do through sports. Banunule has a staff of 18 very dedicated teaching and non teaching staff that are committed to providing the best for the children.
