Meet Yvonne Ahimbisibwe ( )

A Ugandan creative entrepreneur and the Founder of Shwanda Kollection ( )

She is a Winner of the Creative DNA 2.0 Cohort 2024 and a Bold Woman Fund Alumna. Her work sits at the intersection of African art, branding, social media marketing, and product photography.

Inspired by her passion for African fashion and artistic expression, Yvonne established Shwanda Kollection, an afro-centric brand specializing in handmade brass jewelry crafted in Uganda and Kenya.

The brand is known for its timeless pieces and its commitment to empowering craftsmanship, sustainability, and individual self-expression.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong grounding in product photography, Yvonne creates compelling visual brand stories in which each jewelry piece is presented not just as an accessory, but as art, crafted to inspire confidence, authenticity, and personal style.

In August 2025, Shwanda Kollection was featured and showcased at Africa Fashion Week London, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s growing international presence.
